Exercise aim:
to form knowledge and skills in development and solution of nonstandard task – creation of artistically expressive graphic image of fragment of “futuristic” urban environment.
Exercise tasks:
1. To create the associative verbal model of the space – to describe supposed spatial qualities of futuristic city by keywords.
2. To define the perception point – the imaginary station point of observer needed to construct city space.
3. To create the basic volumetric solution. (Define dimensions and proportions of the main volumes and draw the carcass of city following the perspective rules)
4. To find individual architectural style of the city.
5. To place vehicular and pedestrian connections, horizontal and vertical communications.
Submission content:
A1 freehand drawing of the futuristic city. Materials – pencil or ink pen.
